With the power to give birth a new life to our universe, women have been blessed
from the very beginning of human civilization. This extraordinary process brings significant physical
changes for the mother and a wide range of emotions. Lasting about 40 weeks, pregnancy is divided into three trimesters, each with its own unique developments and challenges.

The early stage of pregnancy (1 to 12 weeks or first trimester) is the most important because during that time fetus’s life usually can be addressed by the doctors. At this stage, the uterine wall is implanted with the fertilized egg. and the embryo develops essential structures and organs. The mothers experience some symptoms like vomiting, weakness, and breast tenderness. This is also a vital time for prenatal care to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby.

The second trimester, from weeks thirteen to twenty-six often brings relief from the early symptoms of pregnancy. This period is usually considered the most comfortable as the risk of miscarriage decreases, and the baby’s movements become more noticeable. The fetus grows significantly, and by the end of this trimester, it has developed recognizable features and vital organs.

From week 27 until birth (third trimester) our babies start to prepare for coming out from the womb. Its organ started to develop perfectly and also gain weight. Mothers feel uncomfortable with the baby’s size, position, and movement. Preparing for childbirth becomes essential, involving physical readiness and emotional support from loved ones and healthcare providers.

When a woman is in her pregnancy time, it involves physical, emotional, and psychological changes. Expectant parents often feel a mix of excitement, anxiety, and anticipation. Proper prenatal care, a balanced diet, regular exercise, and emotional support are crucial for a healthy pregnancy.

By welcoming a new life to our universe, the process of pregnancy ends. But it proves how strong a woman body and spirit could be. Each pregnancy is unique, has its own set of excitement and challenges, but it is always a celebration of life.
